Cali Bamboo proprietary fence processing, known as Sigma7 Quality Control Processing, has been developed over the course of a 5 year period and accounts for not only how a Cali Bamboo fence appears, but how it weathers and lasts. Throughout the past 5 years, Cali Bamboo has manufactured and distributed more bamboo fencing than any company on the planet -- an accomplishment that has given us a tremendous amount of experience.
Cali Bamboo transforms the bamboo canes into a preserved and straightened lumber product, but before this can occur, raw materials must undergo extensive selection processing to ensure the uniformity and longevity of the product. We guarantee all our bamboo canes are harvested only between the 3-4 year range -- the optimum standard for fencing products. Further selection criteria that must be met ensure uniformity, straightness, and taper. Canes that fail to meet specific Cali Bamboo requirements are sold to budget bamboo fencing manufacturers.
Once the highest quality canes are selected, they undergo the Sigma7 Quality Control Processing to increase the overall quality and appearance, as well as ensure the bamboo fence will be the most durable and lasting. While other companies settle for the cheapest imported products they can find, Cali Bamboo maintains strict and meticulous control throughout the entire production process -- beginning with sustainably managed organic bamboo groves.
